The WearSense system is a tool intended to enhance the user’s maintenance procedures by providing online data and trending. The tool is not intended to, and does not, replace regular maintenance practices such as but not limited to visual inspections and replacements. Metso assumes no liability for equipment damage resulting from reliance on the WearSense system. Users are still required to follow the maintenance procedures and wear limits recommended in their equipment manual provided by the original equipment manufacturer.

The WearSense system is a stand-alone system which does not integrate with the User’s network, thereby limiting the data availability and providing data security. The information collected by the system is limited to the wear data being measured. As a condition of use, the User and Metso agree to an obligation of mutual confidentiality.
